The whole world in my head

Do Events Theatre & Entertainment

A theatre performance for children at Lokstallarna.

Description

In one bedroom, I lie amongst my soft toys, unable to sleep. He misses his grandmother, who is no longer with us, and he has already begun to forget what she smelled like. In another bedroom, amongst unpacked moving boxes, you are there – having had to leave your dad to move with your mum to a new town and a new family. Big thoughts and feelings are swirling around in the night in both bedrooms, and both you and I are sad and lonely, though in different ways.

In the school playground, you and I meet for the first time. In an instant, we find each other and immediately start playing, laughing and sharing our thoughts and sorrows in a way that only new best friends can.

Whilst you and I are getting to know one another, someone else entirely is on their way. Their bag is packed, they have a map in hand, and with every passing moment they come one step closer to their final destination…

With warmth, humour and gentle storytelling, *The Whole World in My Head* tackles the really big questions: such as the meaning of life, the significance of death, and whether or not there are higher powers. And the incredibly important nature of friendship.

A ticket is required. The performance lasts 45 minutes.
The performance is in Swedish.
