What Christmas is all about
A theatre performance at Lokstallarna. What happens when even Father Christmas has given up hope of Christmas?
Sitting on a snow-covered park bench is Father Christmas himself. He is sitting all alone; he is troubled, tired and has lost the spark that is so important for enjoying Christmas. A stranger approaches and sits down beside him, and the two strike up an unexpected and heartfelt conversation about the true meaning of Christmas.
Throughout December, Regionteatern takes on the task of discovering the meaning of Christmas. Over the years, Christmas has become a jumble of stress, the mad rush for presents and a host of obligations – but what is Christmas really all about? And what happens when even Father Christmas has given up hope of Christmas?
Whilst the audience enjoys a sumptuous Christmas platter and a nice drink, a play with a distinctly Christmassy flavour unfolds. Welcome to a cosy, memorable and music-filled Christmas show that reflects on Christmas and its true meaning.
Tickets required. The performance lasts 70 minutes.
The performance is in Swedish.
