Wester och Wahlsteen - guitar and keyed fiddle

Mats Wester and Jimmy Wahlsteen are an instrumental duo featuring the Swedish keyed fiddle and acoustic guitar.
They made their debut in the fall of 2025 with the EP Från Nypongränd. Their music is described as melodic and captivating instrumental folk music. Listening to them is an experience.
Tradition meets the present in a unique way. Mats is a nationally recognized folk musician and the founder of Nordman; Jimmy is an internationally acclaimed guitarist with several solo albums and tours around the world.
They will also perform on Saturday during a full day of events featuring guitar and string students from Blekinge. In collaboration with the Music and Culture Schools of Blekinge.
