Freely adapted from The Trojan Women by Euripides, with elements from Lysistrata, Iphigenia in Aulis and Greek mythology.
The tragedy The Trojan Women tells the story of the fate of the women of Troy once the senseless war is finally over. The comedy Lysistrata is about how the women of Athens go on a sex and love strike to bring an end to the war between Athens and the rest of the Hellenic world. Greek myths contain the same dilemmas we face today: hubris, violence and hypersensitivity.
