The traditional Mörrum's National Day, arranged on May 10-11, is a mixture of the traditional netting in the river Mörrum, but also a funfair, carousels and much more.
The market is popular and known as 'May 11'. The reason for this is that the Gregorian calendar was introduced in 1753. Before 1753, salmon fishing and the associated market began on Walpurgis Night. This means that there has been a market in Mörrum on May 11 since 1753.
