Description
Performance at Lokstallar Welcome to an evening that explores and reflects on femininity and independence. During the evening, you will meet dancer Jenny Larsson and her mother, forest ranger Britt-Marie, in an exploratory moment about life and their relationship. A relationship that, despite their separate lives, shares a deep connection to the forest. Through conversation, film, quizzes and line dancing, they take the audience on a journey through life, lifestyles, similarities and differences.
Film screening (24 minutes)
When Britt-Marie turns 65, she tries out retirement for a while but soon returns to her job as a forestry teacher. During the same period, her daughter, dancer and mother of three Jenny, goes through a complicated divorce and decides to make a film about what it means to be a mother, strong and independent – and a lumberjack.
Discussion
Jenny and her mother Britt-Marie lead a post-film discussion. They answer questions, but also ask questions of the audience.
Quiz
Who knows the most about their forest? The forest quiz tests the audience's knowledge of the forest. Answer questions, view pictures and show what you know about the forest.
