Description
Canadian singer Kiralina Salandy has been active in Sweden for the past 10 years and has established herself as one of our leading gospel artists. She has also sung a musical at the China Theater in Book of Mormon, collaborated with Jerry Williams, sung at the Nobel Prize ceremony (2020) and made her soulful and expressive voice heard in a variety of jazz contexts.
Together with her trio consisting of Carl Orrje on piano, Patrik Boman on bass and Edvin Glänte on drums, she interprets songs written by or associated with Nina Simone. Songs such as I Put A Spell On You, Mr. Bojangles, I Wish I Knew How, Feeling Good and others are performed in personal interpretations.
