The multi-award-winning musician and composer Klas Lindquist is coming to Karlshamn with a hand-picked quartet of international calibre. This is the same group that recently recorded the album Handle With Care, which has been highly acclaimed both in Sweden and internationally. The album was named Jazz Album of the Year by LIRA magazine in 2024.

Klas is also known for leading his nine-piece band and as one of the founders and anchors of the band Stockholm Swing All Stars. He also plays extensively with other big names in jazz, such as Ulf Johansson Werre, Snorre Kirk, Jan Lundgren and the US-based singer and pianist Champian Fulton, among others.

In autumn 2023, Klas released the album Alternative Source of Energy, which was voted the best jazz album of the year by readers of Orkesterjournalen magazine. In autumn 2024, he received the Gavatin Grand Jazz Award, and in 2025 he was invited as one of three winter guests on Sveriges Radio P2, where he talked about his 30 active years as a jazz musician, composer and arranger.
