Hiking day along the trail Laxaleden

On 18 October, Mörrums Kronolaxfiske is organising a walking day, offering a range of walks, information and activities.

Programme:

10:00 | Welcome to the walking day. Coffee by the bonfire outside Laxens Hus and the chance to pick up the new Laxaled map.

10:10 | Inspiration with Niklas Kämpargård. Author and walking enthusiast Niklas Kämpargård will share his top tips for walking in Blekinge and for today’s walks.

10:30 | Choose your walk – four walks on offer:

• Walk with the salmon – Mörrum’s Cultural Trail, approx. 2 km (1–1.5 hours). An easy walk for everyone. Guide: Stefan Karlsson, Mörrum’s Kronolaxfiske. Max. 20 people. Free!

• Forest bathing in the beech forest – Rosendala/Vittskövle, approx. 2 km (1.5 hours). A peaceful walk focusing on mindfulness and relaxation. Free!

• Elleholm’s biology and cultural history – Elleholm–Nabben, 6 km (approx. 2.5 hours). Guided tour with Professor Emeritus Urban Emanuelsson. 300 SEK per person.

• Käringahagen Nature Reserve – Ångelsmåla–Hovmansbygd, 6 km (approx. 3 hours). A hike through wilderness, with some hilly sections, led by Mattias Holmquist of Mörrums Kronolaxfiske. Free and suitable for experienced walkers.

11:00-14:00 | Outdoor flea market and information. Outdoor flea market in the conference room featuring clothing and equipment for both summer and winter. In the garden, there will also be information from the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation’s Natursnokarna and Blekinge Arkipelag.

13:00-15:00 | Outdoor lunch and get-together. Lunch provided by River Rhyme, with the chance to socialise and share experiences from the day

Good to know:
Some walks have a limited number of places.
Please bring a snack and a mat for the Elleholm walk, as well as drinks and warm clothing for the forest bath.
