Groove Workshop

For over 40 years, club music has engaged, united, been loved and been questioned. From its tentative and obscure beginnings to now routinely filling arenas across the globe. At its heart lies the interplay between DJ and audience, a love of the moment and the search for the ultimate groove.
On three occasions this autumn, Groove will take place in three different locations in Blekinge.
The music and dance styles of Acid, House and Italo Disco will be explained and demonstrated through an in-depth exploration of each genre.
Each event will feature a workshop/talk by DJ Johan Sturesson, followed by a musical journey through time. Those who want to dance can do so; those who just want to listen are welcome to do so. Groove is open to everyone, regardless of age.
Groove is a collaboration between Regionteatern Blekinge Kronoberg, Musik i Blekinge, Dans i Blekinge and Earth Island Studios.
