Description
The Baltic Bassoon Quartet consists of Ignas Mazvila, Lucia Amerise, Leo Ferris and Olivia Brisvall Rydqvist. The four friends, who come from different parts of Europe, started the group in 2019.
They are all passionate about presenting their unusual instruments and their music in a creative, accessible, inviting and fun way. The music is interspersed with informative interludes where the different parts of the instrument and its sound are described and demonstrated to the audience.
Works by Peder Schall, Erik Valdemar Sköld, Wilhelm Peterson Berger and others will be performed.
