Exhibition - Lena Hoel Aldén

On Saturday, December 5 between 13:00-16:00, there will be an opening reception for artist Lena Hoel Aldén at the BM Design Center in Svängsta. The exhibition is being held in conjunction with the Christmas show "Vår julskinka har rymt" and will run through Christmas.

Lena Hoel Aldén has been accompanied by music and the visual arts throughout her life. After 26 years as a vocal soloist at the Royal Swedish Opera, where she worked with Ingmar Bergman, among others, she took the plunge into the art world in earnest. At the age of 62, she was accepted into the Gerlesborg Art School’s one-year program in Stockholm and made her debut as an artist in 2015.

She has studied under Lars Eje Larsson, Lars Holm, and Stina Wollter, among others. In 2023, she was featured in "Akvarellen", the magazine of the Nordic Watercolor Society, and was awarded the Audience Choice Award at the Växjö Art Tour. Her works have been exhibited in galleries and art venues throughout Sweden and are also represented in the Emmaboda Municipality art collection.

We invite you to experience her personal and vibrant artistic style in an inspiring setting amidst the Christmas spirit.
