A tribute to Anni-Frid Lyngstad's music in Svängsta Medborgarhus.
Description
In the musical theater performance A peace for the soul, Anna Bromee interprets Anni-Frid Lyngstad's music from the 60s until today.
The first of its kind – approved by Frida herself – premiered in her hometown of Torshälla on March 28, 2018 under the direction of Gunilla Nyroos.
During the year, Frida becomes even more topical with ABBA's musical comeback and the cinema premiere of Mamma Mia 2.
The performance goes from the early years in the 60s when a teenage Anni-Frid sang in dance orchestras in Sörmland, won a talent show and got to sing in Hyland's corner - via the world career to the personal solo albums up to and including "Djupa andetag" from 1996 where Frida participates as a lyricist.
Together, the songs become like a touching and inspiring life journey in which you can recognize yourself.
