Dance workshop - Somatic techniques
A public workshop on improvisation and composition with the dancer Isolde Daun.
The workshop (in swedish) is open to everyone, regardless of experience, and through it participants will learn basic choreographic tools.
Isolde Daun is a dancer who trained at the Danish School of Performing Arts. She helped establish Danseatelier, a platform for experimental choreography in Copenhagen. She is based in southern Sweden and Copenhagen. She is a member of Dans i Blekinge and Dansbygd Syd.
In her work, Daun explores movement through somatic methods, focusing on inner listening and presence. Improvisation is a key part of her approach to dance. Movement and choreography develop in dialogue with space, music, architecture and other bodies.
