Culture night in Carl Gustaf's Church

During the Cultural Night in Karlshamn on October 4, Karlshamn's parish offers a cavalcade of concerts that ends with Bach to Sleep in Carl Gustaf's church - please bring a sleeping mat for this restful concert.

The program for the evening:

15.00, 16.00 and 17.00 Dramatized walks in the cemetery (in Swedish). Gathering at the church's south gate facing the square.
18.00-22.00 Youth hangout with board games and crafts in the parish garden.
18.00 Carlshamn Gospel offers a concert with captivating gospel songs. Soloist Cecilia Gadman and conductor Mari Sundås.
18.30-22.30 Sausage grilling and fellowship at Carl Gustaf's cemetery.
19.30 The ABF choir sings songs in Finnish, Sami, Meänkieli, Romani Chib and Yiddish.
20.30 Karlshamns Musiksällskaps string ensemble performs beautiful pieces from different eras and genres.
21.30 Carl Gustaf's Motett Choir offers sweet tones after dusk - from Mendelssohn via Stad i ljus to Over the rainbow. Conductor Mari Sundås.
22.30 Bach to Sleep: Organists Noora Karhuluoma, Staffan Sundås and Mari Sundås offer relaxing organ music. A moment for those who want to relax, rest and maybe even doze, lying on the pew. Feel free to bring a sleeping mat.
