Celebration day at Kastellet

Welcome to Kastellet's Day – activities for the whole family! This year, Kastellet celebrates its 350th anniversary with various events throughout the spring, culminating in Kastellet Day on 30 May.

Kastellet is located in the middle of Karlshamn's harbour entrance, only a 5-minute boat ride from the city centre. In early summer, lilacs bloom beautifully on the island.

There will be refreshments in the cafe, Teatersmedjan offers a treasure hunt, Skånes Caroliner fires cannons and drills and you can also take part in historical games.

Free admission and free boat trip to the island. The boat trip to the castle is free on Saturdays and Sundays during the low season (16 May to 17 June). For the boat timetable, see the link. The boat starts running at 12.30 and then runs every 20 minutes until 16.15, which is the last boat home.
