Description
Camerata Nordica, together with French violist Manuel Vioque Judde, will perform two late works by Shostakovich and Beethoven.
Although there is a 150-year gap between the works, they are clearly linked. Shostakovich pays tribute to his predecessor by calling the last movement of his Viola Sonata: Adagio in memory of Beethoven.
