Banna Sona Ban

After a summer and autumn of sold-out concert halls and venues across Sweden, and with radio hits such as “Til the Music Starts Again” and “Working Man”, the Banna Sona Band is going on a Christmas tour in winter 2026.
The band was formed in January 2025 after several years of preparation. Swedish artists Kalle Moraeus and Frida Öhrn have hand-picked twelve musicians for their 14-piece band to create the band’s unique magic.
The repertoire blends Swedish and Irish folk music with Americana – something entirely new on the Swedish scene. Banna Sona means “the happy band” in Irish, and that feeling permeates everything. With a joy of playing, energy and top-class musicality, a concert experience filled with goosebumps, joy, togetherness and warmth is guaranteed.
