AW - Red wine tasting

Welcome to an inviting wine tasting at Port Hotel. This evening, we will be tasting four red wines from four different countries, all made from different grapes – a fine blend of styles and flavours to compare. Two dishes will also be served to accompany the wines.

The tasting will be relaxed, but with a wealth of knowledge behind it. You will be guided through the wines, told what you have in your glass, and the organiser will share things that make wine both more enjoyable and easier to understand – in a light-hearted and inspiring way.

The evening's schedule
• 5.15 p.m. Early admission for those who are a little extra thirsty before it all starts.
• 6 p.m. Welcome – the tasting begins
• Tasting of 4 red wines
• Wine 1 is served with a matching starter
• Wine 3 is served with a suitable main course (and a little extra wine is included here)
• Around 8:45 p.m. After the tasting, there will be a coffee table with coffee/tea, fruit, cakes, chocolate, etc.
• The organiser now also offers liqueurs, sparkling wine, beer, etc.
• 9:30 p.m. last orders – 10:00 p.m. thank you for tonight
