Afternoon tasting of rum and chocolate

Welcome to a flavourful evening at Port Hotel, featuring rum from five different countries and three varieties of high-quality chocolate.

On this occasion, we are delighted to welcome Lee Sernhov from Sernhovs Rum & Choklad. Lee is also known as Mr Diplomático and is a highly regarded speaker with extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the world of rum. We may even get the chance to try something from Diplomático itself.

The evening begins with a drop-in session from 15:00 for those who wish to start the afternoon in peace and quiet with a glass of wine or a cold beer before the tasting begins.

At 15:45, a rum tasting lasting approximately 1,5´-2 hours will begin, during which you will explore the three most characteristic styles of rum and their distinct differences in taste, aroma and character. During the tasting, you will also sample three different types of chocolate paired with the rum, highlighting new nuances in each glass.

The tasting concludes at around 17:30.

• A rum tasting of five varieties from the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Martinique, Barbados and Jamaica

All Port Hotel events have an 18-year-old age limit.
The rum bar is not open on this day.
