Description
In Wind or Dust is a poetic journey in the footsteps of an artist who dedicated his life to observing nature and its creatures in the mists of time.
A dance performance by Athens-based Greek choreographic duo Danae & Dionysios that intertwines creatures and structures from our inner and outer worlds.
Inspired by the Tibetan poet and environmentalist Kawa Niangji, In Wind or Dust is a poetic journey into and out of the rich imagery of his poetry. The urgent need for human contact in a reality that continues to collapse, the nostalgia for a bygone world and the instinctive quest for hopefulness are recurring themes in the young poet's work.
Together with the artistic team, the choreographers Danae & Dionysios dive into a universe of allegories and contradictions. They create a collage of ideas, a journey between the lines of a dusty notebook. With In Wind or Dust, they want to send a love letter to the young poet and wear his name on their lips.
