Performance based on Ida Sundin Asp's book "Idag vet jag inte vem jag är".
About Ida Sundin Asp's book:
"Today I woke up in a strange room. In a strange bed, in a strange body. Now I have to look for myself.”
Grandma sometimes doesn't know who she is. However, her grandson knows that. Together they become detectives who follow Grandma's trail to find her again.
There are tracks everywhere. In the greenhouse. In the garden. In the kitchen.
The book "Idag vet jag inte vem jag är" is about when your old person becomes very old, and what happens in the old person then. But also how the young person, which is you, can help to remember. Or maybe just be there.
"You forget that you forget," says the child.
Starting from Ida Sundin Asp's fantastic picture book "Idag vet jag inte vem jag är" you end up in a game. A detective story. A journey with an old man and a child to find what is sometimes forgotten. Together they form the hub of the story and the quest that can help both heal and play. Ida Sundin Asp was nominated for the August Prize 2016.
The performance is given as a Relaxed Performance.
Relaxed Performances are performances adapted to be more accessible to individuals who may find traditional theater overwhelming or uncomfortable. This can include people with autism, sensory and communication disabilities or learning disabilities and many more.
