Annika Lindfors – "The time that passes"

Quote by Annika Lindfors: "My pictures all originate in the place where I live. The pictures come to me from the impressions I get when I move in the landscape. It can be the visible, such as the light, the color, the shapes, but also that which lies far beyond the limit of the visible."

"The time that passes" is the title of a drawing, an old birch where you see time in its trunk. But it can also be the time that passes when the drawing comes to be, the time it took to walk along the road, or the time that we exist. Lindfors likes to let the images shift between the tangible and the dreamy, for me they are parts of the same thing.

The exhibition "The time that passes" is shown in Karlshamn's art gallery 7-29 October.
